1968年東京都生まれ。シカゴ・アート・インスティテュート・カレッジ・オブ・アート修了。
写真、ビデオ･アートなどのメディアで作品を制作。
作者自身の多様な文化的背景を作品に反映し、そこから社会問題を浮かび上がらせている。
